Some of the sessions are created for those new to the
MIS product, while others will be developed to handle
more in-depth topics.
The following FAQs may help to answer
any questions you have concerning this new training opportunity.
Q:
Where can I see a list of sessions offered?
A: Click on
the following link http://ntst.webex.com. The
list of sessions offered will be listed. This is
updated anytime there is a change in date/time, instructor
or if the session is full. Check back often for
the latest information. View a list of classes
currently available and under development.
Q: How do I
register for a session?
A: Once on the ntst.webex.com
page you will see a list of sessions with dates/times. On the far right
hand side is a link labeled registration. Once
your registration has been submitted you will receive
an email with instructions for joining the session. (Note: Each
participant is issued an id to attend. If you misplace
this information contact webtraining@ntst.com ASAP so
we can get you logged into the session.)
Q: Is there a
fee for the sessions?
A: Some sessions will be at no charge
while others will require a fee. Your agency will
be billed for the sessions requiring a fee.
Q: How long
are the sessions?
A: Some sessions are overviews or introductory
and may last ½ hour – 1 hour. Others may
take the full hour.
Q: Will I need to log into the Netsmart/MIS?
A: Typically
no. If the presenter is using the
Netsmart/MIS as part of the training session you will
be able to see the presenters system.
Q: Will there be
tests after the sessions?
A: Post session tests are being
developed for sessions where applicable.
Q: Do I need
speakers to hear the instructor?
A: The registration email
will contain a teleconference number for you to call
for the audio portion. This
is a toll free number.
Q: Will we receive a copy of the
presentation?
A: In most cases, handouts from the sessions
will be emailed to you after the session ends.
Q: Will
I get the chance to ask questions?
A: Absolutely! We
encourage you to ask questions.
Q: Can anyone at my agency
attend sessions?
A: Yes. Be sure to have approval to attend
any sessions that require a fee!
Q: Will the registration
process for Dublin classes change also?
A: No, the registration
process for Dublin classes will remain the same. Should
we change the process we will let you know in advance.
Tips to make the most out of the sessions
- Read the registration email carefully and hang on
to it!
- Log out of all applications prior to joining any
session.
- You will be asked to mute your phones so there is
less chance of background noise interrupting the session.
- Ask questions!
- Complete the evaluation. Your feedback is important
to us.
