All Avatar products are built upon the RADplus application foundation. RADplus provides a single, intuitive user interface for all Avatar products, creating a seamless experience for your users. RADplus provides powerful configuration and modeling tools that allow all Avatar products to be tailored to the needs of your organization. And RADplus provides system management tools, enabling your system administrator to proactively manage system usage and monitor all system activity.
RADplus User Interface
The RADplus user interface is designed to work with you and your organization. The Menu Manager allows your system administrator to tailor menus to fit your workflow. Additionally, individual users can build their own “Favorites” menu using simple drag and drop features. Staff case loads appear as the “My Caseload” list of client names, eliminating the need to search for assigned clients. Multiple client records can be opened at one time, and the “My Session” manager maintains an easy to read and navigate display of currently opened records. Through Chart Review, a complete client record can be organized into a single tree view that contains flags and reminders for chart discrepancies. All of the user interface options are tightly integrated with RADplus security, so the system your users see is the one they need to complete their job.
RADplus Configuration and Modeling Tools
The RADplus configuration tools are designed to help you meet the demanding needs of your organization. Dictionary and Table Maintenance gives you powerful tools to input, update, and manage look up tables throughout the system. The Option Bundler allows you to easily combine system options into an automatic process flow. Workflow Management allows you to create and manage notification to-do lists. Report tools allow you to embed Crystal Reports into the system, making them an integral part of the application. System supplied Crystal Reports can also be modified to the unique needs of your organization.
The RADplus modeling tools take this flexibility to the next level. Easy to use screens allow your system administrator or other staff to add fields to key system options to collect your critical data. The tools go even further, though, allowing the creation of entirely new tables and options. For example, if you have developed a new client assessment you can create an option that records that assessment. These new options and tables automatically appear as part of the system, available for reporting through Crystal Reports, and included in menu and security management tools.
RADplus System Management Tools
The RADplus system management tools allow your system administrator to control and manage access to the Avatar applications. The Security manager allows for configuration of flexible security roles, easing security administration and supporting consistent access rules. Users can be assigned to one or more roles, based on the needs of their position. Staff can be limited to their caseload, or allowed to work off their caseload as your organization requires. System activity is tracked and available for review and special reports for exceptions, such as failed logins and non-caseload access, are included. Current system activity can also be managed from within the application. The system administrator can view users currently logged in, send messages to individuals or all users, and force individuals or all users to log off.
CCOW-enabled
Clinical Context Object Workgroup (CCOW) is a vendor independent standard developed by Health Level Seven, Inc. to allow clinical applications to share information at the point of care. The CCOW standard establishes the basis for ensuring secure and consistent access to patient information from multiple, independently authored healthcare applications. Sentillion’s Vergence™ Context Management solution automatically synchronizes CCOW-compliant applications at the desktop, simplifying access to data and providing caregivers with a more comprehensive, intuitive understanding of the patient.
Clinicians are able to sign onto one application within a CCOW environment, select a patient, and the same patient is automatically selected in all of the other applications.
